Locally Grown Turf
We source the best turf in Central Oregon from McPheeters' Farm.
Since 1978, they have been growing turf in Central Oregon.
During peak season, we haul fresh from the farm Tuesday through Saturday.
Sod is delivered on pallets that are typically 400 square feet.
A pallet of sod weighs approximately 2500 lbs.
Slabs are 21 inches by 42 inches and weigh about 30 lbs.
SOD LOADING POLICY
We Do Not Hand Load Turf !
If you need a small amount to patch up your yard,
it is sold at $10.00 per piece.
It is always best to schedule ahead,
regardless of how much you need.
We never do same day reservations for sod grass!
Availability for small piece orders varies from week to week.
Availability of extra sod also varies from week to week and is alway first come first serve.
Please call ahead to check availability and preferably reserve ahead.
All Orders of 100 feet or more come palletized,
each pallet has a deposit of $30.00.
We never do same day reservations for sod grass!
Any orders less than 200 square feet is sold by the piece!
Any quantities over 200 square feet that are not
in 200 square foot increments (half pallet),
will incur a $30.00 down stack fee and the
footage difference is sold at piece price.

400 square feet at $0.57 per foot

600 square feet at $0.57 per foot,
plus two $30.00 pallet deposits = $402.00
For example: 200 square feet = $144.00
200 square feet at $0.57 per foot,
plus one $30.00 pallet deposits = $144.00
For example: 150 square feet = $270.00
150 square feet (24 slabs) at $10.00 per slab,
plus one $30.00 pallet deposits = $270.00
For example: 250 square feet = $254.00
200 square feet at $0.57 per square foot,
50 square feet (8 slabs) at $10.00 per slab,
plus a $30.00 downstack fee,
plus one $30.00 pallet deposits = $270.00
Bottom Line,
It Will Always Be More Cost Effective,
To Order In Half Pallet Increments (200 Sq Ft = 32 slabs)
Customers are required to load all non palletized turf themselves!

McPheeters Pallets will be refunded at the full price of $30.00, if returned within 30 days of purchase and accompanied by a receipt.

McPheeters Pallets returned after 30 days will only be refunded $25.00 per pallet if accompanied by a receipt.

McPheeters Pallets returned after 90 days or at any time without receipt will be refunded $20.00 per pallet.

This blend is easy to manage and will tolerate some shade.
All turf will begin to thin when it receives less than 6 hours of sun.
Advantage Blue Grass 80% Bluegrass, 20% Perennial Rye
This blend has a nice texture and a great color that most desire in a lawn.
It tolerates strong sun exposure and heavy traffic.
Turf-type Tall Fescue 100% Fescue
This species is tough for a hot and dry climate.
It is designed for use along roadsides, parkways, and school grounds.
It is unlike most lawns due to its less manicured look and color,
compared to most types of lawn this turf will reduce water usage in your yard.
